SeedVideo AI

Venice AI Private Studio for Chat, Image and Video

Venice AI is a privacy-first AI platform: chat on 138 text models, image, video and audio studios, an OpenAI-compatible API and models it labels uncensored, with your chat history kept in your browser. The free plan covers base models only; Pro costs $18 a month, and every video spends credits. Fans value the privacy and the freedom; critics say “uncensored” models still refuse, Pro’s 100 credits buy very little video, and some payments never activated a plan. SeedVideo AI is built around Seedance, with one-time credit packs and no watermark on paid exports. Try SeedVideo AI For Free Now!

Key Features of Venice AI

Venice started as a private alternative to mainstream AI chat and now adds image, video and audio studios, a model library and an API on one credit balance. These are its main parts and where SeedVideo AI fits next to each.

Private AI Chat on 138 Text Models, With Characters

Venice opens on an “Ask anything” box with shortcuts to learn about the world, generate an image or create a video. Its model library lists 138 language models, from open-weight models it runs on its own or zero-retention partner GPUs to anonymized access to GPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok models. Free accounts get 10 text prompts a day; Pro makes text prompts unlimited.

Pro also adds longer context windows, encrypted chat backup and restore, and custom characters you can create and share. Conversations are stored in your browser rather than on Venice’s servers, so they do not follow you to another device unless you share a link or restore an encrypted backup.

Four Privacy Modes: Anonymous, Private, TEE and E2EE

Every request passes through Venice’s proxy, which relays it without storing it. Anonymous models, such as GPT, Claude and Gemini, hide your identity from the provider, but Venice says to assume the provider stores your prompt; Private models run on Venice-controlled GPUs or zero-retention partners, a promise that rests on contracts.

TEE runs inference in hardware-isolated enclaves operated by NEAR AI Cloud and Phala Network, and E2EE encrypts the prompt on your device until it reaches a verified enclave, without web search or memory. The library counts 100 Private, 174 Anonymous, 12 TEE and 12 E2EE models, and the Terms say Venice does not train on your content and requires its model providers not to either.

Venice Studio for Images: 43 Models, Editing and Upscaling

Venice Studio’s image tab is one prompt box with aspect ratio, settings and a model menu. The library lists 43 image models, including Nano Banana Pro and 2.1, GPT Image 2.5, Seedream V5, Flux 3, Qwen Image 3, Ideogram V4.5, Recraft V4 and Grok Imagine 2.0, with Z-Image Turbo as the default.

Pro includes 1,000 image requests a day on included models and adds hi-res upscaling, background removal, variants, generative editing and watermark removal. A 2× upscale with enhance can use up to 8 requests and a 4× up to 16, and models marked Pay Per Use, such as Seedream V5 Pro, spend credits instead.

Venice Studio for Video: Seedance 2.5, Kling, Veo and Wan

The video tab has keyframe (first and last frame), multi-reference and Edit Video modes, with resolution, aspect ratio and length set per run. Seedance is listed as 2.5, 2.5 Edit, 2.0, 2.0 Fast, 2.0 Mini and 1.5 Pro, next to Kling 4.0 and V3, Veo 3.1, Wan and Grok Imagine; Kling 4.0 reference to video, added in October 2026, takes up to 10 images and 5 videos for clips up to 30 seconds.

Every video spends credits, at 100 credits to the dollar. The model library lists Seedance 2.5 from $0.51 a clip, Seedance 2.0 from $0.76 and Seedance 2.0 Mini from $0.18, and the pricing page puts leading video models under 80 credits for a roughly 5-second video. Guests are asked to sign in before generating.

A 274-Model Library With Published Prices

On the check date the model library listed 274 models: 138 LLMs, 43 image, 63 video, 19 audio and 11 text-to-speech models, 94 of them open-weight. Each card shows the provider, the privacy mode and a price, in dollars per million tokens for text or a starting price per clip for video.

Credits are Venice’s single currency for video, music, premium image and text models and the API. Paid plans add a monthly allowance; Pro Plus and Max give a 10% and 12.5% bonus against retail and let unused credits roll forward for two or three months.

Venice API, Agents and the VVV and DIEM Tokens

The Venice API puts chat, image, video, audio, embeddings and web search behind one key, with an OpenAI-compatible chat endpoint, guides for coding tools such as Cursor and Codex CLI, and agent apps that run Venice on messaging platforms. Venice’s FAQ says API use is metered separately from any plan: even models that are free in the web app are billed per token through the API.

Venice also has its own token, VVV. Staked VVV can be locked to mint DIEM, and each staked DIEM gives $1 a day of API credit; Venice describes DIEM as transferable and tradeable. Credits can otherwise be bought in USD or USDC, and yearly plans can be paid in Bitcoin.

Uncensored Models, the Mature Filter and the Rules

Venice’s About page argues that mainstream content policies make AI “less intelligent”, and its menus tag models such as Qwen Image 3, Seedream V5 and Seedance 2.0 Enhanced as Uncensored. A Mature Filter is on by default; the FAQ says it can be switched off in Settings on Pro or higher, and guests see a note that upgrading unlocks four more image models.

Its Terms of Service still forbid illegal content and anything that exploits children, require users under 18 to have a guardian’s consent and keep the filter on, and say outputs come from third-party model providers, not Venice. The iOS app is limited by App Store policies, so Venice points iPhone users to its web app. Several Trustpilot reviewers say models still refuse some requests.

Venice AI Product Positioning and Background

Venice’s Terms of Service name Venice.ai, with a notice address in Wyoming, and put disputes under Wyoming law and binding individual arbitration; they were last updated on Jun 8, 2026. Its About page says Venice was founded on the principle that AI should be private by default and permit free and open thought, and that it has over 4 million users.

It is positioned as one private account for every kind of model: chat, images, video, audio, code and an API, with history kept on your device, privacy modes per model and models it labels uncensored. Paid plans are priced mainly on chat and image limits, while video, music, frontier models and the API run on credits, which can also come from Venice’s own VVV and DIEM tokens.

SeedVideo AI is an independent platform built around Seedance video, with Kling, Veo, Sora, Wan and MiniMax as options and a smaller set of image models, published credit prices and one-time credit packs.

Who Uses Venice AI: Real-World Use Cases

Venice suits people who put privacy and model choice first and want chat, images and an API in one account. If video is the main job, a Seedance-first generator with video in the plan may cost less.

Privacy-minded professionals

Ask sensitive questions with chat history kept in your browser and, on Pro, use hardware-verified or end-to-end encrypted models.

Developers and agent builders

Call text, image, video and audio models through one OpenAI-compatible key, billed per use, with guides for coding tools and agent apps.

Creators comparing models

Try Nano Banana, Seedream and Flux for images, or Seedance, Kling and Veo for video, from one account and one credit balance.

Writers and role-players

Build characters with their own backstories and system prompts, and pick text models tuned for storytelling.

Adults who want fewer refusals

Pick models Venice labels Uncensored and switch off the Mature Filter on Pro, within the limits of its Terms of Service.

Crypto-native users

Pay in USDC or Bitcoin, or stake VVV and DIEM for daily API credit instead of a card subscription.

Venice AI Reviews: What Real Users Say

Venice AI’s Trustpilot profile was claimed in January 2026, has a paid Trustpilot subscription and is rated 1.9 from 68 reviews: 15% five-star and 72% one-star, with 57 in the last 12 months. Venice has no recent history of inviting reviews there, and the profile says it replied to 89% of negative reviews, typically after more than a month. We read the 62 reviews the profile showed (Jan 30, 2025 to Nov 3, 2026); two are about other businesses. Fans praise the privacy, fewer refusals than mainstream chatbots and a capable API. Critics say “uncensored” models still refuse, Pro’s credits and limits are thinner than the plan suggests, results miss prompts while retries cost credits, and some payments never activated a plan, with slow support. Each theme links to example reviews; one review can count toward several themes.

What users like

  1. 01

Privacy that stays on your device

Five-star reviewers single out chats that stay in the browser instead of on a server, say that alone is worth the price for sensitive work, and call Venice the best option for private AI even if it is not perfect.

  2. 02

Fewer refusals and many models in one place

Others like being able to try several models for creative work, an assistant that does not push its own views, and one that engaged with a hard argument other chatbots avoided.

  3. 03

An API and video tools that work

A developer calls the API private and trustworthy, a four-star reviewer likes cutting and extending videos without other software, and another gets high-quality results once the right model is picked.

What users complain about

  1. 01

    “Uncensored” models that still refuse

The most frequent complaint: paying users say Venice sells itself as uncensored but refusals grew over time, that a refusal can show up as a “model not available” error, and that even an image of fully dressed people at dinner was blocked.

    What SeedVideo AI does

Seedance’s own safety checks still apply on SeedVideo AI, but a run that is blocked or fails releases its credits, and Kling, Veo, Wan and MiniMax are one switch away in the same generator.

  2. 02

Pro limits thinner than the plan suggests

Pro subscribers say its 100 monthly credits do not cover one flagship video, that “1,000 images a day” shrinks with edits and upscales, that unlimited chat covers only basic models with no list of which models count as frontier, and that a 50,000-token context cap arrived mid-subscription.

    What SeedVideo AI does

Seedance 2.5 is in every plan from Lite ($13/month billed yearly), one-time packs from $29.90 need no subscription, and every model shows its credit cost before you run it.

  3. 03

Results that miss the prompt, with retries charged

Reviewers describe credits charged on every wrong retry, a photo edit that ignored the prompt and returned a cartoon, a free image that did not look like the same person, and paid videos that disappeared from the library.

    What SeedVideo AI does

A failed run releases its credits, and the cost of every clip shows before it runs; a finished video you are unhappy with is still charged. One-time pack credits last 180 to 365 days.

  4. 04

Plans that did not activate, no refunds, slow support

Others say they paid, in card or USDC, and Pro never activated, that a same-day refund request was refused, and that support took a month or never answered. Venice has since replied that unlinked payments can be fixed by email.

    What SeedVideo AI does

Support is one address, support@seeddance.io, listed in the site footer, and refunds follow one published rule: new purchases within 3 days, if none of that purchase’s credits were used, minus payment fees of up to 4% + $1.50; renewals are non-refundable.

Why Creators Switch from Venice AI to SeedVideo AI

Most people who move want video to be the main product, with Seedance in the plan, rather than a chat plan with a small credit allowance.

  1. 01

A video plan, not a chat plan

Seedance 2.5 clips run up to 30 seconds with audio and image, video and audio references, at 720p on Lite ($13/month billed yearly) and 1080p from Pro ($14.50/month billed yearly). On Venice, Pro’s monthly allowance is 100 credits, $1 of usage, and every video spends credits.

  2. 02

Credits without a subscription, and a refund rule

One-time credit packs start at $29.90 with commercial use included and last 180 to 365 days, and new purchases follow a published 3-day refund rule. Venice’s subscriptions are generally non-refundable once paid.

  3. 03

A week of unlimited Seedance on Premium

Premium ($99/month billed yearly) includes 7 days of unlimited Seedance 2.5 and 2.0 once per account, and a failed run never costs credits. Venice has no unlimited video on any plan.

Stay with Venice AI if…

  • You want chat, images and video in one private account, with your history kept on your device.
  • You build agents or apps and want one OpenAI-compatible API across hundreds of models.
  • You are an adult who wants models with fewer content restrictions and a Mature Filter you can switch off on Pro.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about Venice AI, checked on Nov 4, 2026.

What is Venice AI used for?
Venice AI is a privacy-focused platform for AI chat, images, video, audio and code. People use it to chat with open and frontier models with their history kept in the browser, generate and edit images, make videos with Seedance, Kling, Veo and Wan, build characters, and call the same models through an OpenAI-compatible API.
Is Venice AI free?
Partly. The free plan covers base models only, with 10 text prompts and 15 image prompts a day. Pro costs $18 a month or $180 a year, Pro Plus $68 or $735 and Max $200 or $2,160 (prices on Nov 4, 2026); video, premium models and the API spend credits at 100 per dollar.
Is Venice AI private?
Venice keeps chat history in your browser and relays requests through a proxy that does not store them. Private models run with no data retention under contract, Anonymous models hide your identity but the provider may store prompts, and Pro adds TEE and end-to-end encrypted models. History does not move between devices without an encrypted backup.
Is Venice AI uncensored?
Venice markets uncensored AI and tags some models Uncensored; a Mature Filter is on by default and can be switched off on Pro or higher. Its Terms still forbid illegal content and anything that exploits children, and users under 18 must keep the filter on. Several Trustpilot reviewers say models still refuse some requests.
Does Venice AI have Seedance?
