Face swap is Magic Hour’s best-known tool: photo, video and GIF face swap, multi-face swap in the dashboard, plus head swap, body swap and Character Replace for whole characters. You can upload your own video or paste a YouTube link.

A REST API with SDKs

Magic Hour’s API exposes its video, image and audio tools and model-specific endpoints, with SDKs for Python, Node, Go and Rust and a playground that runs a free sample before you sign up. Magic Hour is used to make short AI videos and images quickly: face swaps, talking photos, lip sync, UGC-style ads, text and image to video with models such as Seedance 2.5, Kling 3.0 and Veo 3.1, image editing, voice and music. Creators use its templates for social posts, and developers use the same tools through its API.
Is Magic Hour free?
Partly. Core tools such as image to video, face swap and talking photo work without an account, with daily limits such as three 3-second, 480p video clips with a watermark. A free account gets 400 sign-up credits and up to seven daily claims of 100 credits, for personal use only. Paid plans are Creator at $19 a month, Pro at $39 and Business at $99, or $12, $25 and $66 a month billed yearly (prices on Oct 22, 2026).
Does Magic Hour offer refunds?
Yes, within limits. Its Refund Policy gives a full refund on a subscription or renewal within 7 days of payment if fewer than 400 credits were used since that payment, and on a credit pack within 7 days if none of its credits were used.
