Tesla Roadster AI VideoFlying Car, Police Stop and Traffic Jam Prompts

Paste a prompt below and generate, or attach a photo of your own car first and watch it lift off. The prompts describe a generic sports car with no badges, not anyone’s real car or brand. Seedance 2.0 Mini by default; a 4-second 480p clip costs 5 credits, which the free sign-up credits cover.

Models, limits and prices read from the live generator on .

Tesla’s October 2026 demo, where the new Roadster jumped off a ramp on thrusters, set off a wave of AI parodies with one twist: an ordinary car scene, then the car lifts off. A sports car pulled over by the police rises off the road just as the officer reaches the window; a car stuck in a traffic jam floats up and flies over the line of stopped cars. You can generate the scene from a text prompt, or start from a photo of your own car.

To make a flying-car video like the Tesla Roadster trend, paste a prompt that describes the scene and the moment the car lifts off, and generate. The police-stop prompt needs no photo; for the traffic-jam version, attach a photo of your own car and it becomes the first frame, and for the ramp flip, attach it as a reference image. The default model, Seedance 2.0 Mini, makes 4–15 second clips at 480p or 720p with sound; a 4-second 480p clip costs 5 credits, which the free sign-up credits cover. Describe a car with no badges or logos and leave brand names out of the prompt, which makes a copyright refusal less likely. A failed run costs no credits.

A parody, not Tesla’s car

  • SeedVideo AI and this page are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Tesla, Inc. or SpaceX. Tesla and Roadster are named only to identify the trend.
  • We make no images of Tesla’s cars and use no Tesla logos. The prompts describe a generic sports car with no badges, and brand names in a prompt or a photo can get a clip refused by the copyright check. The posts under “Where the trend started” belong to their creators.
  • Keep real people out of it: do not put a public figure, or anyone who has not agreed, into the clip.
  • A fake police stop can fool people. When you post it, say it is AI-generated, and do not pass it off as real dashcam or news footage.

What Tesla showed on October 15

Tesla showed its new Roadster on the evening of October 15, 2026, at a SpaceX test site near McGregor, Texas, in front of an audience and on a livestream. (KWTX, Fox Business)

With no one on board, the car drove up a curved ramp shaped like half of a roller-coaster loop and launched off it, and in another jump cleared a line of parked Tesla vehicles with a barrel roll, setting down gently in a cloud of condensation. Tesla said it went 27 feet into the air. Cold-gas thrusters developed with SpaceX power the jumps: short hops, not hovering or sustained flight. (NBC News, Aviation Week)

On its Roadster page Tesla says the version called Rocket “can fly” and notes that it is “not approved for public road use”. (Tesla)

Where the trend started

The parodies came within a day: AI clips of the car escaping a police stop, lifting out of a traffic jam, dropping into the last free parking space, or a different car doing the ramp flip. Several carry an AI-generated label.

Google searches for “tesla roadster” peaked on October 16 and were down to less than a fifth of that peak by October 18. (Google Trends)

Not shown here: Tesla’s own footage, clips with real people’s faces, and parodies dressed up as live news. Each card credits the post it shows; we did not make, edit or re-upload any of them.

A 10-second top-down animation: a car is about to take the last free parking space when a white car drops out of the sky in a cloud of mist and takes it. No people, no logos. The most-watched parody we found.

A 15-second clip its creator labels as AI: a tiny Fiat 126p drives up the curved ramp until it is upside down, fires its jets, flips and lands. The same stunt with a different car, which is what most people ask our generator for.

How to make the flying-car video

  1. 1

Pick a prompt, or a photo of your own car

The police-stop prompt is text only. For the traffic-jam and ramp-flip versions, use a sharp photo of your own car, with the whole car in frame and the badge and number plate as small as possible.

  2. 2

    Attach the photo, or nothing

In the box at the top of this page an attached photo becomes the first frame: the clip starts on your car. For the ramp flip, open that prompt in the full generator, attach the photo and click its small Start label (“Use as reference image”). For the text-only prompt, attach nothing.

  3. 3

    Paste the prompt and generate

Pick the length and resolution and press Generate. The composer shows the credit cost before you start, and a failed or refused run is not charged.

Flying-car prompts you can copy

Each prompt opens in the generator with the model and length filled in, and nothing runs until you press Generate. None of them names a car brand or a model; every one asks for a car with no badges or logos.

Police stop, then lift-off

Text only, no photo

The parody that is everywhere: no photo needed.

Night-time traffic stop on an empty two-lane road, seen from the dashboard of the patrol car behind: a sleek red two-seat electric sports car with no badges or logos and a blank number plate waits on the shoulder under flashing red and blue lights. An officer in a plain dark uniform walks up to the driver’s window; the sports car’s wheels tuck in, soft white jets fire underneath, and it rises straight up, hovers for a moment, then shoots off over the treetops. The officer steps back and stares up at the sky. Generic patrol car with no department name or markings, realistic dashcam look, one continuous shot, no text on screen.

Your car lifts out of a traffic jam

Photo as first frame

Starts on a photo of your own car; works best with the car on a road.

The car in the photo is stuck in a long traffic jam on a sunny city highway. Its wheels fold flat, white jets fire underneath, and it lifts straight up out of the line of stopped cars, hovers for a second, then flies forward low over the jammed lanes while drivers below lean out of their windows to look. Keep the car’s shape and colour exactly as in the photo, with no badges or logos added. Smooth tracking shot from the side, one continuous shot, no text on screen.

Your car does the ramp flip

Photo as reference image

The stunt itself with your own car: attach its photo as a reference image in the full generator.

The car in @Image 1 speeds across a desert test site at dusk and drives up a giant curved ramp that bends up and over until the car is upside down, launches off the top, rolls once in slow motion while small white jets puff from under the body, then sets down on its wheels in a cloud of mist. Keep the car’s shape and colour exactly as in @Image 1, with no badges or logos and a blank number plate. Wide tracking shot, one continuous shot, no text on screen.

Opens the generator on Seedance 2.0 Mini, 4 s, 480p, with the prompt filled in. Attach your photos, then click the Start label on the first one (“Use as reference image”) so they count as references.

Tesla Roadster AI video FAQ

Is the flying Tesla Roadster video real?
Tesla’s own demo was: on October 15, 2026, with no one on board, the new Roadster made short thruster-powered jumps off a ramp and over a line of parked cars at a SpaceX test site in Texas. It did not hover or fly for long. The clips that spread afterwards, with the car escaping a police stop, flying over traffic or dropping into a parking space, are AI-made parodies, and many carry an AI-generated label.
Why did my flying-car video fail?
Usually the copyright check or the safety review. A car brand’s logo, a famous car’s name or a real person’s face in the prompt or the photo can get the clip blocked, and some models refuse photos they classify as real people. Describe the car instead of naming it, ask for no badges or logos, and keep the photo to the car itself.
Can I use a photo of my own car?
Yes. Attach it in the box at the top of this page and it becomes the first frame, then paste the traffic-jam prompt; for the ramp flip, attach it as a reference image instead. Seedance 2.0 Mini takes JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 30 MB, 300–6,000 pixels on each side. A side or three-quarter view with the whole car in frame works best; a large badge or a readable number plate makes a refusal more likely. Do not upload Tesla’s video or other people’s clips to copy them.
Do I lose credits when a generation fails?
No. The generator only holds the credits while the clip renders and deducts them when the finished video is saved, so a failed or refused run costs nothing. On free sign-up credits you get one finished video and up to two attempts; a refused photo costs no credits but uses one attempt, so start with your clearest photo.
Is it free?
New accounts get 5 free sign-up credits with no card. On Seedance 2.0 Mini, a 4-second 480p clip costs 5 credits, which the free sign-up credits cover. Longer or sharper clips cost more credits, and Seedance 2.5 (up to 30 seconds and 1080p) needs a plan or a credit pack. Videos made with your account carry no watermark, free credits included.
